The Youth Showcase is for all high school students across the USA and a few high schools outside this country. Before schools submit images to the PSA , the PFLI conducts our own competition and awards ceremony. This is PFLI’s 15th year participating in the Showcase. The PFLI started with six high schools, and over the years, more than twenty schools have participated. Each year we’ve had PSA winners. Our PFLI winners consistently represent themselves well from all the entries in the PSA contest.

Following the PFLI competition, we send all images to PSA for its annual competition. We notify the schools of the results of the PSA Competition.

There are a team of people who, over the years, made this Showcase possible.

Dorothy Gist, Southeast Queens Camera Club, who started it all.
